حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، قَالَ مَرَّ رَجُلٌ عَلَى حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّ هَذَا يُبَلِّغُ الأُمَرَاءَ الْحَدِيثَ عَنِ النَّاسِ . فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ
" لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَتَّاتٌ " . قَالَ سُفْيَانُ وَالْقَتَّاتُ النَّمَّامُ . وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Ibn Abi Umar narrated to us, Sufyan bin Uyaynah narrated to us, on the authority of Mansour, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Hammam bin Al-Harith, he said: A man passed by Hudhayfah Ibn Al-Yaman, and he was told that this man conveys the hadith to the princes on behalf of the people. Hudhayfah said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: “No slanderer will enter Paradise.” Sufyan said, “And slanderers are slanderers.” This is a good and authentic hadith.
