Hadith #28243
Ibn Abi Umar told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Abu Hazim, he said, Sahl bin Saad was asked, while I was listening, about what the wound of the Messenger of God was hurt. May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and he said, “There is no one left who knows this more than me.” Ali used to bring water on his shield, and Fatima washed the blood from him, and he was burned. A mat was used to cover his wound. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
