Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28800
Hadith #28800
Al-Hasan bin Arafa told us, Ismail bin Ayyash told us, on the authority of Yahya bin Abi Amr Al-Sibani, on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Dailami, he said I heard Abdullah bin Amr say, “I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say, “Indeed, God Almighty created His creation in darkness.” So He cast upon them His light, and whoever is struck by that light will be guided, and whoever misses it will go astray. For that reason I say, “The pen has dried up, with the knowledge of God.” Abu Issa said this is a good hadith.
