Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28841

Hanad narrated to us, Abu Al-Ahwas narrated to us, on the authority of Sa’id bin Masruq, on the authority of Ibn Ash’u, on the authority of Yazid bin Salamah Al-Ja’fi, he said, Yazid said Ibn Salamah, O Messenger of God, I have heard from you a lot, which I fear will make me forget. The beginning and end of it, so speak to me a word that is a collective. He said, “Fear God in what you know.” Abu Issa said, “This is a hadith whose chain of narration is not connected, and to me it is mursal.” And it did not reach me. Ibn Ashwa's name is Yazid bin Salamah, and Ibn Ashwa's name is Sa'id bin Ashwa'.
