Hadith #28965
حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ مَرَّ رَجُلٌ وَعَلَيْهِ ثَوْبَانِ أَحْمَرَانِ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ . وَمَعْنَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ أَنَّهُمْ كَرِهُوا لُبْسَ الْمُعَصْفَرِ وَرَأَوْا أَنَّ مَا صُبِغَ بِالْحُمْرَةِ بِالْمَدَرِ أَوْ غَيْرِ ذَلِكَ فَلاَ بَأْسَ بِهِ إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ مُعَصْفَرًا .
Abbas bin Muhammad al-Baghdadi told us, Ishaq bin Mansour told us, Israel told us, on the authority of Abu Yahya, on the authority of Mujahid, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr said: A man passed by wearing two red clothes and greeted the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, but the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not respond. Peace be upon him. Abu Issa said: This is a good and strange hadith from this perspective. The meaning of this hadith according to the people of knowledge is that they They disliked wearing yellow dye and believed that there was nothing wrong with anything dyed red with mud or otherwise as long as it was not dyed yellow.
