Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29027

Qutaibah narrated to us, he said, Hammad bin Yahya Al-Abhh narrated to us, on the authority of Thabit Al-Bunani, on the authority of Anas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “The example of my nation Like rain, it is not known whether it is good at the beginning or at the end.” He said, and in the chapter on the authority of Ammar, Abdullah bin Amr, and Ibn Umar. This is a hasan ghareeb hadith from this perspective. It was narrated on the authority of Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi that he used to confirm Hammad ibn Yahya al-Abah He used to say, “He is one of our sheikhs.”
