Hadith #29018
Qutaibah narrated to us, he said, Al-Layth narrated to us, on the authority of Khalid bin Yazid, on the authority of Saeed bin Abi Hilal, that Jabir bin Abdullah Al-Ansari, said The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came out to us one day and said, “Indeed, I saw in a dream as if Gabriel was at my head and Michael was at my side.” My two feet. One of them says to his friend, “Give him an example.” So he said, “Listen, your ear has heard, and understand the understanding of your heart. My example is only like you and your nation.” Like the example of a king who took a house, then built a house in it, then set a table in it, then sent a messenger to invite the people to his meal. Some of them responded. The Messenger, and whoever among them abandons him, then God is the King, the abode is Islam, and the home is Paradise, and you, O Muhammad, are the Messenger, so whoever answers you will enter Islam. And whoever enters Islam will enter Paradise, and whoever enters Paradise will eat whatever is in it.” This hadith was narrated through more than one authority, on the authority of The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, with a chain of transmission more authentic than this. Abu Issa said: This is a mursal hadith. Saeed bin Abi Hilal did not reach Jabir bin Abd. God. And on the authority of Ibn Masoud.
