Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29076

Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Wasiti narrated to us, he said, Waki` narrated to us, he said, Abu Farwa narrated to us, Yazid bin Sinan, on the authority of Abu al-Mubarak, on the authority of Suhayb, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “He who believes in the Qur’an is not permissible his mahrams.” Abu Issa said, “This is not a hadith.” Its chain of transmission is strong, and Waki’ has been contradicted in his narration. Muhammad Abu Farwah said Yazid ibn Sinan al-Rahawi, there is nothing wrong with his hadith except His son Muhammad’s narration on his authority, for he narrates evil things on his authority. Abu Issa said: Muhammad ibn Yazid ibn Sinan narrated this on the authority of his father. The hadith was added in this chain of narration on the authority of Mujahid, on the authority of Saeed bin Al-Musayyab, on the authority of Suhaib, and Muhammad bin Yazid cannot be followed up on his narration, and it is weak. Abu Al-Mubarak is an unknown man.
