حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّهُ مَرَّ عَلَى قَارِىءٍ يَقْرَأُ ثُمَّ سَأَلَ فَاسْتَرْجَعَ ثُمَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ
" مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ فَلْيَسْأَلِ اللَّهَ بِهِ فَإِنَّهُ سَيَجِيءُ أَقْوَامٌ يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ يَسْأَلُونَ بِهِ النَّاسَ " . وَقَالَ مَحْمُودٌ هَذَا خَيْثَمَةُ الْبَصْرِيُّ الَّذِي رَوَى عَنْهُ جَابِرٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ وَلَيْسَ هُوَ خَيْثَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَخَيْثَمَةُ هَذَا شَيْخٌ بَصْرِيٌّ يُكْنَى أَبَا نَصْرٍ قَدْ رَوَى عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَحَادِيثَ وَقَدْ رَوَى جَابِرٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ هَذَا أَيْضًا أَحَادِيثَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ لَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِذَاكَ .
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, he said, Abu Ahmad narrated to us, he said, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Khaythamah, on the authority of Al-Hasan, on the authority of Imran bin Husayn, that he passed by a reciter who was reciting, then he asked, and he took it back and then said, I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying, “Whoever reads the Qur’an So let him ask God with it, for there will come people who will recite the Qur’an and ask people with it.” Mahmoud said, “This is Khaythamah Al-Basri.” The one from whom Jabir al-Ju’fi narrated, and he is not Khaythamah ibn Abd al-Rahman. This is a Basri sheikh, nicknamed Abu Nasr, who narrated on the authority of Forget Ibn Malik hadiths, and Jabir al-Ju’fi narrated this also hadiths on the authority of Khaythamah.
