حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدَبٍ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" صَلاَةُ الْوُسْطَى صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Humayd bin Masada narrated to us, Yazid bin Zurai’ narrated to us, on the authority of Sa’id, on the authority of Qatada, Al-Hasan narrated to us, on the authority of Samurah bin Jundub, that the Prophet God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
“The middle prayer is the afternoon prayer.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
