Hadith #28143
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ نِعِمَّا لأَحَدِهِمْ أَنْ يُطِيعَ رَبَّهُ وَيُؤَدِّيَ حَقَّ سَيِّدِهِ ‏"‏ يَعْنِي الْمَمْلُوكَ ‏.‏ وَقَالَ كَعْبٌ صَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ‏.‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى وَابْنِ عُمَرَ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏
Ibn Abi Umar told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Al-Amash, on the authority of Abu Salih, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Well done.” “It is for one of them to obey his Lord and fulfill the rights of his master,” meaning the slave. And Ka’b said, “God and His Messenger have spoken the truth.” And on the authority of Ubayy Musa and Ibn Omar. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
