Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29151

Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi narrated to us, Abu Amir, who is the potter, and Yazid bin Ibrahim narrated to us, both of them on the authority of Ibn Abi Mulaika, Yazid said, on the authority of Ibn Abi Mulaika, on the authority of Al-Qasim bin Muhammad, on the authority of Aisha, and Abu Amir did not mention Al-Qasim. She said I asked the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, about his saying: (As for those in whose hearts is a slur, they follow what is similar to it, seeking temptation. And seeking to interpret it.) He said, “So when you see them, recognize them.” And Yazid said, “So when you see them, recognize them.” He said it. Two or three times. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
