حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الآيَةُ : (قُلْ هُوَ الْقَادِرُ عَلَى أَنْ يَبْعَثَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابًا مِنْ فَوْقِكُمْ أَوْ مِنْ تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِكُمْ ) قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَعُوذُ بِوَجْهِكَ " . فَلَمَّا نَزَلَتْْ ( أَوْ يَلْبِسَكُمْ شِيَعًا وَيُذِيقَ بَعْضَكُمْ بَأْسَ بَعْضٍ ) قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " هَاتَانِ أَهْوَنُ - أَوْ - هَاتَانِ أَيْسَرُ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Ibn Abi Umar told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Amr bin Dinar, he heard Jabir bin Abdullah say, when this verse was revealed: (Say It is He who is able to send upon you a torment from above you or from under your feet.) The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “I seek refuge in Your Face.” “. Then when “Or will He divide you into factions and make one of you taste the violence of one another” was revealed, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “These two are easier - or - these two Aasar. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
