Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29222

Abu Kurayb told us, Muawiyah bin Hisham told us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Najia bin Ka’b, on the authority of Ali, that Abu Out of ignorance, he said to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, “We do not deny you, but rather we deny what you have brought.” Then God revealed: (Indeed, they do not deny you, but The wrongdoers deny the signs of God. Ishaq bin Mansour told us, Abd al-Rahman bin Mahdi told us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Najiya, that Abu Jahl said to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he mentioned something similar to it, but he did not mention it on the authority of Ali, and this is more correct.
