Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29247

Ibn Abi Umar narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Al-Harith, on the authority of Ali, who said that the greatest day of Hajj is the day of sacrifice. He said: This hadith is more authentic than the hadith of Muhammad bin Ishaq because it was narrated from another source. This hadith is on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Al-Harith, on the authority of Ali. It is suspended, and we do not know of anyone who attributed it except what was narrated on the authority of Muhammad bin Ishaq, and Shu`bah narrated this hadith on the authority of Abu Ishaq on the authority of Abd By Allah, Ibn Murrah, on the authority of Al-Harith, on the authority of Ali, on the authority of a chain of narrators.
