Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29284
Hadith #29284
Ahmad bin Abdah al-Dhabi told us, Mu’tamar bin Sulaiman told us, on the authority of Laith bin Abi Sulaym, on the authority of Bishr, on the authority of Anas bin Malik, on the authority of the Prophet May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, in his saying: (And We will certainly ask them all * about what they used to do) He said, “about the saying there is no god but God.” Abu Issa said: This is a strange hadith, but we know it from the hadith of Laith bin Abi Sulaym. Abdullah bin Idris narrated on the authority of Laith bin Abi Sulaym, on the authority of Bishr, on the authority of Anas bin Malik, something similar, but he did not narrate it.
