Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29285

Muhammad bin Ismail narrated to us, Ahmad bin Abi Al-Tayeb narrated to us, Musab bin Salam narrated to us, on the authority of Amr bin Qais, on the authority of Atiyya, on the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Fear the insight of the believer, for he sees with the light of God.” Then he read: (Indeed, in that are signs for those who are discerning.) Abu Issa said: This is a strange hadith, but we know it from this perspective, and it was narrated on the authority of Some of the people of knowledge, in interpreting this verse, said: (Indeed, in that are signs for those who are discerning.) He said to those who are thoughtful.
