Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29320

Ibn Abi Umar narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Amash, on the authority of Abu Al-Duha, on the authority of Masruq, he said, I heard Khabab bin Al-Art, saying, I came to Al-Asi bin Wael Al-Sahmi paid what was due to me from him, and he said, “I will not give it to you until you disbelieve in Muhammad.” I said, “No, until you die and then are resurrected.” He said, “I will die, then I will be resurrected.” I said, “Yes.” He said, “I have wealth and a son there, so I will pay you back.” Then it was revealed: “Have you seen the one who disbelieved? With Our signs, and He said, “He will be given wealth and children” (verse). Hanad narrated to us, Abu Muawiyah narrated to us, on the authority of Al-A’mash, and the like. He said this is a hadith.
