حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ الأَنْصَارِيَّةِ، أَنَّهَا أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ مَا أَرَى كُلَّ شَيْءٍ إِلاَّ لِلرِّجَالِ وَمَا أَرَى النِّسَاءَ يُذْكَرْنَ بِشَيْءٍ فَنَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الآيَةُ : (إن الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ) الآيَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ وَإِنَّمَا يُعْرَفُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .
Abd bin Humayd narrated to us, Muhammad bin Kathir narrated to us, Sulaiman bin Kathir narrated to us, on the authority of Husayn, on the authority of Ikrimah, on the authority of Umm Amara The Ansariyyah, that she came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said, “I do not see everything except for men, and I do not see women being reminded of anything,” so she descended. This verse: (Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women) the verse. Abu Issa said, This is a good and strange hadith. This hadith is known only from this perspective.
