Hadith #26191
Qutayba bin Saeed narrated to us, Bishr bin Al-Mufaddal narrated to us, on the authority of Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel, on the authority of Al-Rabi’ bint Mu’awiz bin Afra, The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, wiped his head twice, starting with the back of his head, then with the front, and with both ears, the backs of them. And their stomachs.” Abu Issa said: This is a hasan hadith, and the hadith of Abdullah bin Zaid is more correct than this and has a better chain of transmission. Some of the people of Kufa believed in this hadith, including Waki` ibn al-Jarrah.
