Hadith #29575
Omar bin Ismail bin Mujalid bin Saeed told us, my father told us, on the authority of Abd al-Malik bin Umair, on the authority of Raba’i, on the authority of Hudhayfah bin Al-Yaman, may God be pleased with them, that when the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, wanted to sleep, he would say, “O God, in your name I die and live.” And when he woke up He said, “Praise be to God who revived my soul after He had killed it, and to Him is the resurrection.” Abu Issa said this is a good and authentic hadith.
