Nasr bin Abdul Rahman al-Kufi told us, Al-Muharbi told us, on the authority of Malik bin Mughal, on the authority of Muhammad bin Suqa, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Omar said that he used to prepare for the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, in one sitting a hundred times before he rose, “My Lord, forgive me and turn to me.” Indeed, You are the One who repents, the Forgiving.” Ibn Abi Omar told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Suqa, with this chain of transmission, similar to its meaning. He said, “This is a good, authentic, and strange hadith.”
