Hadith #26368
Qutaibah narrated to us, Al-Layth narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Hakim bin Abdullah bin Qays, on the authority of Amir bin Saad, on the authority of Saad bin Abi Waqqas, on the authority of the Messenger God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Whoever says when he hears the muezzin, ‘And I bear witness that there is no god but God alone, with no partner, and that Muhammad His servant and His Messenger. I am satisfied with God as my Lord, with Muhammad as a Messenger, and with Islam as religion. His sins have been forgiven.” Abu Issa said, and this is a good hadith. It is authentic and strange and we only know it from the hadith of Al-Layth bin Saad on the authority of Hakim bin Abdullah bin Qais.
