Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29726

Ahmad bin Al-Hasan told us, Asbagh bin Al-Faraj told us, Abdullah bin Wahb told me, on the authority of Amr bin Al-Harith, that he told him On the authority of Sa`id bin Abi Hilal, on the authority of Khuzaymah, on the authority of Aisha bint Sa`d bin Abi Waqqas, on the authority of her father, that he entered with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, A woman had in her hands some pebbles, or he said, pebbles, with which she was praying. He said, “Shall I not tell you what is easier for you than this or better, Glory be to God?” The number of what He created in the sky, and Glory be to God, the number of what He created on earth, and Glory be to God, the number of what is between that, and Glory be to God, the number of what is Creator, and God is great, for such and such, and praise be to God, for such and such, and there is no power nor strength except in God, for such and such.” He said. This is a hasan ghareeb hadith from the hadith of Saad.
