حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، بُنْدَارٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَزْرَةُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عِلْبَاءُ بْنُ أَحْمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زَيْدِ بْنُ أَخْطَبَ، قَالَ مَسَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدَهُ عَلَى وَجْهِي وَدَعَا لِي قَالَ عَزْرَةُ إِنَّهُ عَاشَ مِائَةً وَعِشْرِينَ سَنَةً وَلَيْسَ فِي رَأْسِهِ إِلاَّ شَعَرَاتٌ بِيضٌ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَأَبُو زَيْدٍ اسْمُهُ عَمْرُو بْنُ أَخْطَبَ .
Muhammad bin Bashar told us, Bundar told us, Abu Asim told us, Ezra bin Thabit told us, Alba bin Ahmar told us, Abu Zaid told us Ibn Akhtab, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, wiped his hand on my face and prayed for me. Ezra said that he lived for one hundred and twenty years and was not in His head except for white hairs. Abu Issa said: This is a good and strange hadith. And Abu Zayd’s name is Amr ibn Akhtab.
