حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" أَرْحَمُ أُمَّتِي بِأُمَّتِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَأَشَدُّهُمْ فِي أَمْرِ اللَّهِ عُمَرُ وَأَصْدَقُهُمْ حَيَاءً عُثْمَانُ وَأَقْرَؤُهُمْ لِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ أُبَىُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ وَأَفْرَضُهُمْ زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ وَأَعْلَمُهُمْ بِالْحَلاَلِ وَالْحَرَامِ مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ أَلاَ وَإِنَّ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَمِينًا وَإِنَّ أَمِينَ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ " . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Muhammad bin Bashar told us, he said, Abdul Wahhab bin Abdul Majeed Al-Thaqafi told us, he said, Khaled Al-Hadha’ told us, on the authority of Abu Qalabah, on the authority of Anas bin Malik said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The most merciful of my nation to my nation is Abu Bakr, and the strongest of them in the matter of God is Omar.” The most honest of them in modesty was Uthman, and the most readable of the Book of God was Ubayy ibn Ka’b, and the most honorable of them was Zayd ibn Thabit, and the most knowledgeable of them about what is permissible and what is forbidden. Muadh ibn Jabal: “Indeed, every nation has a trustee, and the trustee of this nation is Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah.” This is a good and authentic hadith.
