حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ الْعَطَّارِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ أَرْحَمُ أُمَّتِي بِأُمَّتِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَأَشَدُّهُمْ فِي أَمْرِ اللَّهِ عُمَرُ وَأَصْدَقُهُمْ حَيَاءً عُثْمَانُ وَأَعْلَمُهُمْ بِالْحَلاَلِ وَالْحَرَامِ مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ وَأَفْرَضُهُمْ زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ وَأَقْرَؤُهُمْ أُبَىُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَمِينٌ وَأَمِينُ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ قَتَادَةَ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ‏.‏ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ أَبُو قِلاَبَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَحْوَهُ وَالْمَشْهُورُ حَدِيثُ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ ‏.‏
Sufyan bin Waki’ told us, he said Humaid bin Abdul Rahman told us, on the authority of Dawud Al-Attar, on the authority of Muammar, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Anas bin Malik, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “The most merciful of my nation to my nation is Abu Bakr, the most ardent of them in the matter of God is Omar, and the most truthful in modesty is Othman.” The most knowledgeable of them about what is permissible and what is forbidden is Muadh bin Jabal, the most knowledgeable of them is Zayd bin Thabit, and the most knowledgeable of them is Ubayy bin Ka’b, and to every nation there is a trustworthy and trustworthy person. This nation is Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah. “This is a hasan ghareeb hadith. We do not know it from the hadith of Qatada except from this route. And he has It was narrated by Abu Qilaba on the authority of Anas on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the well-known is the hadith of Abu Qilabah.
