حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ مِشْرَحِ بْنِ هَاعَانَ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ أَسْلَمَ النَّاسُ وَآمَنَ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِي ‏"‏ ‏.‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ مِشْرَحِ بْنِ هَاعَانَ وَلَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِالْقَوِيِّ ‏.‏
Qutaibah narrated to us, he said, Ibn Lahi’ah narrated to us, on the authority of Musharrah ibn Ha’an, on the authority of Uqba ibn Amir, he said, “The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said.” The people submitted to Islam and Amr ibn al-Asi believed. “This is a strange hadith. We do not know it except from the hadith of Ibn Lahi’ah on the authority of Musharrah ibn Ha’an and not Its chain of transmission is strong...
