Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #30003

Ishaq bin Mansour told us, he said, Abu Usama told us, on the authority of Nafi’ bin Omar al-Jumahi, on the authority of Ibn Abi Mulaika, he said, Talha bin said Ubaidullah, I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say, “Amr bin Al-Asi is one of the righteous of Quraysh.” Abu Issa said this is a hadith. We only know of it from the hadith of Nafi’ bin Omar Al-Jumahi. Nafi’ is trustworthy, but its chain of transmission is not connected, and Ibn Abi Mulaika did not mention Talha.
