Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26296

The people of knowledge have differed regarding the blood that is on the garment and one should pray in it before washing it. He said Some of the people of knowledge among the followers said that if the blood was the size of a dirham and he did not wash it and prayed in it, he would repeat the prayer. Some of them said that if the blood was He repeated the prayer more than the value of a dirham. This is the view of Sufyan al-Thawri and Ibn al-Mubarak. Some of the people did not oblige Knowledge from the Successors and others has to be returned, even if it is more than the value of a dirham. This is what Ahmad and Ishaq say. Al-Shafi’i said. He must perform ghusl, even if it is less than the value of a dirham, and he must do so in that regard.
