Al-Lu'lu' wal-Marjan — Hadith #36896

When a member of his family dies, the women come and gather. Then when everyone except his relatives and especially close women had left, he ordered 'talveena' (a meal made of flour, honey etc.) to be cooked on the stove. It is twisted. Then 'Sarid' (a dish made of sliced ​​bread between meat) was prepared and talbeena was poured over it. He said: Eat from it. Because I heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) saying that 'Talbeena' is in the heart of a sick person.
