Hadith #37172
قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إذا مات الإنسان انقطع عمله، إلا ثلاثة: (1) صدقة جارية، (2) علم ينتفع به، أو (3) ولد صالح يدعو له». (مسلم 4310، أبو داود 2880، النسائي 3653 الخ)
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "When a person dies, his deeds cease. But not three things; (1) Sadaqah Jariyah, (2) knowledge by which benefit is obtained or (3) a righteous son who makes du'a for him." (Muslim 4310, Abu Dawood 2880, Nasa'i 3653 etc.)
