Hadith #38008
قال: قلت يوما: يا رسول الله! إني أراك تصوم في شهر شعبان ما لا أراك تصوم في غيره من الشهور، (ما سر هذا)؟ والأعمال تعرض على رب العالمين. فأحب أن يعرض عملي في الصيام. (أحمد 21753، النسائي 2357، صحيح الترغيب 1008، تمام المنة 412 ص)
He said, 'Once I said, O Messenger of Allah! I see you fasting in the month of Sha'ban as much as I don't see you fasting in any other month, (what is the secret of this)?' Deeds are presented to the Lord of the worlds. So I prefer that my deeds be presented (to Allah) while fasting. (Ahmad 21753, Nasa'i 2357, Sahih Targhib 1008, Tamamul Minnah 412 pp.)
