Hadith #38068
سأل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم رجلا ذات يوم: كيف أصبحت يا فلان؟ فقال الرجل: أحمدك الله يا رسول الله! فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «ذلك الذي أردت منك». (كبير الطبراني 1475، الأوسط 4377، السلسلة صحيح 2952)
Once Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) asked a man, "How are you this morning, O so-and-so?" The man said, 'I praise Allah to you, O Messenger of Allah!' The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said, "That's what I wanted from you." (Kabir of Tabarani 1475, Awasat 4377, Silsilah Sahih 2952)
