Hadis Sambhar — Hadith #38077

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Which of you do you regard as a martyr?" All said, 'O Messenger of God! A person who is killed in the way of Allah (Jihad) is a martyr. He said, "Then it belongs to my Ummah." The number of martyrs is very low.” They all said, 'But who are they, O Messenger of Allah?' He said, "Whoever is killed in the cause of Allah (in Jihad) is a martyr, who dies in the cause of Allah (by gas) is a martyr, who dies of plague is a martyr, who dies of stomach pain is a martyr, and whoever dies of water is a martyr. He drowned and died as a martyr." (Ahmad 8092 etc., Muslim 5050)
