وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللهِ أَحَبَّ اللهُ لِقَاءَهُ وَمَنْ كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللهِ كَرِهَ اللهُ لِقَاءَهُ فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَكَراهِيَةُ المَوتِ فَكُلُّنَا نَكْرَهُ المَوتَ ؟ قَالَلَيْسَ كَذَلِكَ وَلَكِنَّ المُؤْمِنَ إِذَا بُشِّرَ بِرَحْمَةِ اللهِ وَرِضْوَانِهِ وَجَنَّتِهِ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللهِ فَأَحَبَّ اللهُ لِقَاءَهُ وَإِنَّ الكَافِرَ إِذَا بُشِّرَ بِعَذابِ اللهِ وَسَخَطهِ كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللهِ وَكَرِهَ اللهُ لِقَاءَهُ رواه مسلم
On the authority of Aisha, she said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Whoever loves meeting God, God will love meeting Him, and whoever hates meeting God, God hates meeting him. So I said: O Messenger of God, the hatred of death, as we all hate death? He said, “It is not so, but when the believer receives good news of God’s mercy He loved meeting God, so God loved meeting Him. And when the infidel is given good news of God’s punishment and wrath, he hates meeting God, and God hates meeting him. Narrated by Muslim.
