Hadith #38131

وَعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بنِ الحُصَيْنِ الخُزَاعِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُما : أنَّ امْرَأةً مِنْ جُهَيْنَةَ أتَتْ رسولَ الله صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم وَهِيَ حُبْلَى مِنَ الزِّنَى فقالتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أصَبْتُ حَدّاً فَأَقِمْهُ عَلَيَّ فَدَعَا نَبيُّ الله صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم وَليَّها فقالَأَحْسِنْ إِلَيْهَا فإذا وَضَعَتْ فَأْتِني فَفَعَلَ فَأَمَرَ بهَا نبيُّ الله صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم فَشُدَّتْ عَلَيْهَا ثِيَابُهَا، ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِهَا فَرُجِمَتْ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا فقالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ: تُصَلِّي عَلَيْهَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَقَدْ زَنَتْ ؟ قَالَ لَقَدْ تَابَتْ تَوْبَةً لَوْ قُسِمَتْ بَيْنَ سَبْعِينَ مِنْ أهْلِ المَدِينَةِ لَوَسِعَتْهُمْ، وَهَلْ وَجَدْتَ أَفضَلَ مِنْ أنْ جَادَتْ بنفْسِها لله عز وجل رواه مسلم

On the authority of Imran bin Al-Husayn Al-Khuza’i, may God be pleased with them both: A woman from Juhayna came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, while she was pregnant as a result of adultery, and she said: Oh Messenger of God, I harmed someone, so appoint him over me. Then the Prophet of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, called her guardian and said, “Be good to her.” So, behold, She gave birth, so he came to me and he did so. The Prophet of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, ordered her to do so, and her clothes were pulled over her. Then he ordered her to be stoned, then he prayed over her and said to him: Omar: You pray for her, O Messenger of God, when she has committed adultery? He said, “She would have repented as much as if it had been divided among seventy of the people of the city.” She would have embraced them, and could she have found anything better than that she sacrifice herself for God Almighty.
