وفي مصعب بن عمير (رضي الله عنه) ؛ استشهد في غزوة أحد ولم يترك وراءه سوى عباءة صوفية ملونة. فلما غطينا به رأسه خرجت رجلاه. ولما غطى قدميه خرج رأسه. فأمرنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أن "نغطي به رأسه ونفرش على قدميه عشباً إغير". ومنا من نضجت ثماره. وهم يجمعونها. (البخاري 1276، مسلم 2220)
In Mus'ab Ibn Umayr (RA); He was martyred in the Battle of Uhud and left behind only a colorful woolen cloak. When We covered his head with it (for a shroud), his feet came out. And when he covered his feet, his head came out. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) (Alaihi Wasallam) instructed us to "cover his head with it and spread 'Iqhir' grass over his feet." And among us there are those whose fruits are ripe. And they are collecting it.' (Bukhari 1276, Muslim 2220)
