عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ لَمَّا قُتِلَ أَبِي جَعَلْتُ أَكْشِفُ الثَّوْبَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ أَبْكِي وَيَنْهَوْنِي عَنْهُ وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم لَا يَنْهَانِي فَجَعَلَتْ عَمَّتِي فَاطِمَةُ تَبْكِي فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم تَبْكِينَ أَوْ لَا تَبْكِينَ مَا زَالَتْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُظِلُّهُ بِأَجْنِحَتِهَا حَتَّى رَفَعْتُمُوهُ
On the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, may God be pleased with them both, he said, “When my father was killed, I started to uncover the garment from his face and weep, but they forbade me from doing so, and the Prophet prayed.” God, may God bless him and grant him peace, does not forbid me. It made my aunt Fatima cry, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Will you cry or not, whatever? The angels continued to shade him with their wings until you exalted him
