Hadith #38176
عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَجَلِيِّ قَالَ: كُنَّا نَعُدُّ الِاجْتِمَاعَ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْمَيِّتِ وَصَنِيعَةَ الطَّعَامِ بَعْدَ دَفْنِهِ مِنْ النِّيَاحَةِ
On the authority of Jarir bin Abdullah Al-Bajli, he said: We used to prepare meetings with the family of the dead and prepare food after his burial as a way of mourning.
