Hadith #38175
وعَنْ أُسَامَةَ بنِ زيدِ قَالَ: أرْسَلَتْ بنْتُ النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم إنَّ ابْني قَد احْتُضِرَ فَاشْهَدنَا فَأَرْسَلَ يُقْرئُ السَّلامَ ويقُولُإنَّ للهِ مَا أخَذَ وَلَهُ مَا أعطَى وَكُلُّ شَيءٍ عِندَهُ بِأجَلٍ مُسَمًّى فَلتَصْبِرْ وَلْتَحْتَسِبْ
And on the authority of Osama bin Zaid, he said: The daughter of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, sent to say that my son was dying, and we witnessed him, so he sent to read the greeting and say, “Allah belongs what He takes, and to Him is what He gives.” And with Him is a fixed term for everything, so be patient and seek reward.
