On the authority of Ibn Umar, he said: When the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, bid farewell to a man, he would take his hand and not let it go until the man himself left the hand of the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, and say: “I entrust to God your religion, your trust, and the end of your deeds,” and in the narration “the end of your deeds.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and Ibn Majah, and it says: Their narration was not mentioned: “And end your work.”
Narrated by
Abdullah ibn Umar (RA)
