Mishkatul Masabih — Hadith #39716

He said, We were bathing the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). At this time he came to us. He said, Three times, five times, more times if you feel necessary; Bathe him with water and plum leaves. And the last bar is 'Kafur'. Or said, will pour some part of camphor in water, will inform me after bathing. After bathing him, we informed the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). He came and raised his hand and said, A Apply the tahbandha to his body. Another description is, bathe him oddly three or five or seven times (by pouring water). And the bath will start with the places of ablution from the right. She (Umm Attiyah) said, We braided her hair three times I made it and left it behind. (Bukhari, Muslim)" [1]
