Mishkatul Masabih — Hadith #39782

Hadith #39782
He said, (One day) some Ansar people asked the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) for something. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave them something and if they asked again, he gave it again. وحتى ما كان لديه قد ذهب. Then he said, "The wealth that comes to me, I will not save you and make a pile of wealth." Remember that the person who refrains from asking people, Allah saves him from being in front of people. لا تواجه الناس. And whoever is greedy for other people's wealth, Allah is greedy for him. الشخص الذي ينتظر بفارغ الصبر؛ نسأل الله له القوة على الصمود. Remember, giving something is better and wider than patience not done (Bukhari, Muslim) [1]
He said, (One day) some Ansar people asked the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) for something. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave them something and if they asked again, he gave it again. Even what he had was gone. Then he said, "The wealth that comes to me, I will not save you and make a pile of wealth." Remember that the person who refrains from asking people, Allah saves him from being in front of people. Do not face people. And whoever is greedy for other people's wealth, Allah is greedy for him. A person who is patiently waiting; May Allah grant him the strength to endure. Remember, giving something is better and wider than patience not done (Bukhari, Muslim) [1]
