Hadith #39814
وكلاهما قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: أفضل الصدقة ما كانت على حالها. ويجب أن تبدأ الصدقة ممن تجب عليك نفقته. (البخاري، والإمام مسلم أ) (رواه حكيم بن حزام فقط) [1]
Both of them said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The best charity is that which is given in good condition. And charity should be started from the person whose maintenance is obligatory on you. (Bukhari; Imam Muslim a (Narrated by Hakim Ibn Hizam only) [1]
