وكان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يعلمه هكذا، إذا قمت من فراشك في الصباح قل:\n\n``سبحان الله وبحمده، ولا قويت إلا-باللهي،ماشا-هو كا-نا،ومالام يشعلم يكن،علم أنالها علاء- اعلم أن الله على كل شيء قدير. وكل شيء قد أحاط الله بعلمه). ومن قرأ هذا الدعاء بعد المغرب قرأه حتى الفجر.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to teach him like this, when you get out of bed in the morning say,\n\n``Subha-nall-hi wa bihamdihi, wala-quywata illa- billa-hi, ma-sha-all-hu ka-na, wama-lam yasha'lam yakun, a'lamu annall-ha 'ala- Know that Allah has power over all things. And all things are encompassed by Allah through His knowledge). And whoever recites this dua after dusk will recite it till dawn (waking up).
