He said, I asked Jabir Ibn 'Abdullah Al Ansari (RA) about Jabu' (meaning - hyenas with sharp claws and ferocious teeth, bejees, squirrels and ferocious animals of the desert), whether it is a predatory animal? He said yes. I ask I did, but what can be eaten? He said yes. Then I asked, did you hear it from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him? He said yes.
