Hadith #40180
قال: كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يخرج في أيام الفطر والأزهر إلى العيدة. وكان (عليه السلام) في البداية يذهب إلى هناك فيصلي. ثم التفت إلى الناس الذين كانوا يقفون، وكان الناس يومئذ يجلسون في صفوفهم. وكان (عليه السلام) يخطبهم وينصحهم. وإذا أراد أن يرسل جيشا في أي اتجاه يختارهم. أو لإعطاء أي تعليمات لشخص ما لو كان هناك لكان قد أعطاها. ثم يعود (عليه السلام) من (الإيدجة). (البخاري، مسلم) [1]
He said, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to leave (the house) on the days of Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azhar and go to the grounds of the Eidgah. At first he (peace be upon him) used to go there and pray. Then he turned to the people used to stand People used to sit in their own rows at that time. He (peace be upon him) used to give them speeches and advice. And if he wanted to send an army in any direction, he would select them. Or to give any instructions to someone If there was, he would have given it. Then he (peace be upon him) would return from the (Idgah). (Bukhari, Muslim) [1]
