Hadith #40025
وقد وصل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى منى، فنزل أولاً إلى الجمرات، فيرمي الجمرات. ثم أتى صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى خيمته بمنى فنحر أضاحيه. ثم دعا (عليه السلام) الحلاق فرفع رأسه الأيمن. تمتم الحلاق. ثم دعا أبا طلحة الأنصاري فأعطاه. ثم رفع رأسه الأيسر فقال: احلق. فيحلقه، وأعطى صلى الله عليه وسلم الحلق لأبي طلحة، وقال: اذهب فقسمه على الناس. (البخاري ومسلم) [1]
The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, reached Mina and first went to Jamarat and cast stones. Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to his tabernacle at Mina and sacrificed his sacrificial animals. Then he (peace be upon him) (Alaihi Wasallam) called the barber and raised the right side of his head (towards him). The barber muttered it. Then he called Abu Talha Al Ansari and gave it (the hair). Then he raised the left side of his head (to the barber) and said, Shave. He shaves it did He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also gave the shaved hair to Abu Talhah and said, Go and distribute it among the people. (Bukhari and Muslim) [1]
