Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45033

Abu Ahmad narrated to us, Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Al-Zubair narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Al-Harith bin Ayyash bin Abi Rabi’ah, on the authority of Zayd ibn Ali, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Rafi’, on the authority of Ali ibn Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him. He said: The Messenger stopped God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, at Arafat, and he said, “This is the position, and all of Arafat is a position,” and he continued when the sun went down. Then Usama added, and made him hang on to With his camel and the people beating right and left, he turned to them and said, “Peace, O people.” Then a crowd came. He led them with the Maghrib and Isha prayers, then spent the night until morning. Then Qazah came and stood on Qazah and said this situation, and he combined all of them. He stopped, then walked until he came with a bow, and he stood over him, and he trod his she-camel, and she trotted until he crossed the valley, then he locked her up, then returned Al-Fadl. He walked until he came to the Jamarat and stoned it, then he came to the slope and said, “This is the slope and all of Mina is a slope.” He said, “A young slave girl from Khath’am asked him for advice.” She said, “My father is an old man who has performed his duties, and God’s obligatory Hajj has reached him. Will it be sufficient for him if I perform it on his behalf?” He said. Yes, tell me on the authority of your father. He said, “He twisted Al-Fadl’s neck.” Al-Abbas said to him, “O Messenger of God, why did you twist the neck of your cousin?” He said, “I saw a young man and a woman.” Satan did not believe in them. He said, “Then a man came to him and said, ‘O Messenger of God, I shaved before I sacrificed.’ He said, ‘Sacrifice, and there is no harm.’ Then Another came to him and said, “O Messenger of God, I have finished my hair before I shave.” He said, “Shave it or cut it, and there is no harm.” Then he came to the House and walked around it, then he came. Zamzam said, “O Banu Abd al-Muttalib, I will give you water to drink, and had the people not prevailed upon you to do so, I would have been satisfied with it.”
